Privacy Policy

Summary: the screenshots, hotspots and demo content you create in the builder are processed locally in your browser and are not sent to us. Hosting technically processes request data such as IP addresses. If license sales are enabled, Polar Software, Inc. processes checkout data, and its License API receives the license key and a browser-instance label for activation and validation. We use no analytics or tracking cookies.

2. Principle: local processing

The screenshots you upload, the hotspots you place, and the demo you build are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to us. If you use "Save draft," this data is stored only in your own browser's local storage / IndexedDB. When you click Export, the resulting HTML file is generated on your device and downloaded directly — it is never uploaded to our servers. License data is the exception and is processed as described in section 4.

3. Hosting (Cloudflare)

This website is served via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (in particular IP address, user agent, and time of access) in server logs. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and efficient delivery of the site). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare; transfers to third countries take place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

4. Payment processing (Polar)

Where a purchase button is available, purchases are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, USA) as merchant of record. At checkout, Polar processes the data you provide (name, email, payment details, VAT ID where applicable) under its own responsibility. When you activate and later validate a license, the license key, a product-specific browser-instance label, and an activation ID issued by Polar are sent to the License API. The license key and activation ID are stored in your browser's local storage. Your demo content is never sent to Polar.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking services.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
